The Republican Decision to establish Beni Suef Technological University was issued in the Official Gazette on June 3, 2019, regarding the issuance of Law No. 72 of 2019 to establish technological universities, so this step is an important step in the development of a new path for technical education in Egypt.

Technological universities are an extension of the path of technical education students that work to provide them with practical and scientific skills to keep pace with the requirements of the local and international labor market, through technological programs that are applied to colleges affiliated with the university, which were developed based on the needs of national projects and the geography of universities.

International cooperation between the university and the Republic of South Korea: -

• An agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
• A technical support team from the Korea University of Technology and Education (Korea Tech) and the ABEEK Foundation responsible for quality assurance and accreditation.

Beni Suef University of Technology includes the Egyptian Korean College of Industrial Technology and Energy.

There are three departments in the college, and they are as follows:

1. Department of Technological Industries. Industrial Technology.
2. Department of Information Technology. Information Technology.
3. Energy Technology Department. Energy Technology.
