The Elba Nature Reserve or Mount Elba is one of the most important and largest Egyptian natural reserves, located in the southeastern corner of the Halayeb Triangle with an area of ​​35,600 square kilometers. The reserve was declared in 1986. The reserve contains on many natural, human and cultural resources between wildlife, medicinal and economic plants, local tribes, cultures, antiquities and ancient Pharaonic drawings in addition to geological, mineral and water resources from wells and eyes to fresh water. Water because the Red Sea is enriched by a large marine wealth of coral reefs, seaweed and rare marine creatures in addition to many Red Sea islands within the boundaries of the reserve that contain sea turtles and many types of rare and valuable migratory birds and types of mangroves of great environmental and economic value.
