The Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science belongs to ALECSO, one of the organizations of the League of Arab States.
The Arab Research and Studies Institute is the arm of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALCO) and its expert house is specialized in Arab research and studies. Established in the early fifties of the last century, and was led by a well-known national thinker Sateh Al-Hosry, and high figures such as: Muhammad Shafiq Ghorbal, Taha Hussein and Yahya Al-Khashab were presided over him.
The higher academic (educational) programs on which the Institute is based are an essential and organic part of its responsibility. It focuses on Arab issues with the aim of promoting mutual benefit and promoting comprehensive and sustainable development in the Arab world to the greatest extent, by raising the national awareness of young people and providing it with the scientific methodological vision necessary to participate in building and keeping pace with the times.
