The Higher International Institute of Media was established by Ministerial Resolution No. 1216 on 9/6/2009 and it also includes the following sections:

News production department

Media production department

Media Marketing Department

The regulation was amended by Ministerial Resolution No. 966 on 19/3/2018 and it includes the following three sections:

Department of Journalism

Radio and Television Department

Public Relations and Advertising Department

All departments are accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education

And an equation by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (which allows granting the same rights and duties as Egyptian public universities, such as registration in unions and registration in postgraduate studies).

The duration of study is 4 academic years in all departments to obtain a bachelor's degree.
