Believing in the civilized role that the Higher Institute of Applied Arts plays in the fifth assembly and interest in the areas of design and production technology, so that it includes programs and decisions that address the latest scientific theories and advanced technologies. The Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Assembly seeks to cooperate with all agencies concerned with applied arts affairs, from universities Colleges, scientific institutes, productive institutions, and external and local research centers, in order to consolidate all that is new in design and technology sciences, so that the institute graduates have the innovative capabilities and technical skills required. In addition, the institute used its class of applied arts professors to develop study curricula, and the institute used some curricula in corresponding colleges and institutes outside and inside Egypt, in order to guide them in developing an appropriate concept for the curricula of the institute in the light of local variables. The Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Assembly hopes that graduates of the Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Assembly will contribute to the development of artistic taste in the use of civilizational products and visual means of communication, as the Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Assembly believes that the development of society is only through the development of tools for its daily life and the Higher Institute of Arts Applied in the Fifth Compound, a monument designated by the Egyptian civilization heritage and the achievements of previous civilizations as a source of artistic and scientific vision for the applied arts. The Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Settlement also aims to contribute to the movements of plastic arts and applied arts in the Arab Republic of Egypt and Arab and African countries through close cooperation with relevant professional societies and unions locally.
