Description

Technische Universität Berlin, Germany, established a satellite Campus in El Gouna to act as an academic hub and research center at the Red Sea in Egypt. TU Berlin Campus El Gouna currently conducts the following advanced Master’s degree programs in:

Energy Engineering
Urban Development
Water Engineering
IT for Energy (coming soon)
Business Engineering (coming soon)

All two-year programs comprise 120 Credit Points (ECTS) and are taught in English. Students graduate with a full Master’s degree by Technische Universität Berlin. Next to their study time in El Gouna, they spend up to one year at TU Berlin’s main campus in Berlin.

TU Berlin Campus El Gouna was founded as a nonprofit Public-Private-Partnership between TU Berlin, Orascom Development Holding, and Sawiris Foundation for Social Development. Teaching and research are conducted by staff of Technische Universität Berlin and international experts under German regulations for higher education.

The exceptional location of TU Berlin Campus El Gouna provides a state-of-the-art environment for studying and research, while serving as a bridge for scientific and intercultural exchange between Europe, the MENA region, and the other parts of the world.

Campus Facilities - Outdoor facilities includes three open air areas, with refreshing landscape design and water feature that give to each space its unique stress free atmosphere. The main event court is equipped with shading structure to cover during the day, that court can take up to 150 - 200 guests. Other courts vary in capacity between 100 - 150 guests depending on the event setup.
Halls - Forum or Exhibition hall has ecstatic modern design and layout of the forum makes it ideal for social events, exhibitions, galleries and music recitals, located on the ground floor with independent reception desk and 2 small office rooms. In addition to a divider wall to make up a spacious meeting room, this venue varies in capacity depending on the event concept. Lecture and meeting halls have modern, well equipped 6 halls for up to 50 guests, located on the ground floor. Every two Halls are equipped with flexible divider walls to take up to 120 guests. Audio, visual presentation facility available for 5 halls, and audio only for others. In addition to Audimax – Conference and theater hall "Auditorium Maximum (Latin largest lecture hall or Aula Magna; short lecture hall)" is usually the largest and most representative of a university lecture hall. In the lecture hall find large lectures, but also hard-or other major events place.
Food Court - Campus restaurant takes up to 96 seated guests, catering provider available on campus.
