Karaman Island is one of the Nile islands of the governorate of Sohag in Upper Egypt, which number 20, of whom only 5 arelands are residential. As for Qaraman, it is an uninhabited island, but it is also not empty, as the movement is permanent on it from visitors. On an area of approximately 500 acres in the middle of the Soil Nile, and there is an extension from the southern side towards the city of Sohag estimated at about 160 acres, which makes it one of the largest islands of Sohag spread within its borders on the Nile River, and one of the most famous Egyptian islands in Upper Egypt.
