This region lies between the longitudes of 35 west and 36 east and between latitudes 23 north to latitude 23 south. Due to the density of marine plants with its plains and valleys, it is considered a habitat for many wild animals.
It is considered the largest mountain valley in the Eastern Desert in general, it has a group of simple houses built by the people, inhabited by the people of Al-Bashariya and Al-Abedah and leave it in the winter in the pursuit of grazing, it has a water well called the Al-Daieb well relative to the valley, which is suitable for seasonal cultivation and is the most fertile mountain valley. It is considered the mouth of the torrential water from the mountains and is considered the largest dry river in Egypt.
