It is located northwest of the village of Al-Hamam, on the western desert road from Beni Suef. This monastery is attributed to St. Isaac, the disciple of St. Anthony. The history of the establishment of this monastery dates back to the year 346 AD after a sermon delivered by St. Anba Isaac.
