Artery and the heart of the new capital, the Green River is the largest green garden in the Middle East, designed to be a green lung and a natural outlet for all neighborhoods and compounds of the new administrative capital as well, and is one of the most important features of the new administrative capital.
This large river stretches from the middle ring road to the borders of New Cairo, from the Al-Fattah Al-Alim Mosque to the regional road.
The length of this river is only 10 kilometers in the first stage, and the second stage extends to an additional 25 kilometers.
Designed to simulate by the famous Hanging Gardens of Babylon, this river will be strengthened on the outskirts of some of the rarest plants in the world.
Complete infrastructure will be built for this big river; One for desalination, another for irrigation, and one for drainage.
The river extends to the financial and business district, and the river gardens also extend to the most important avenues of the capital, the north and south axis of Mohammed bin Zayed.
There are also 6 other neighborhoods overlooking the river, and this river will become the outlet and lifeline of the residents of the new administrative capital.
