This ancient castle is located about 60 km from Nuweiba, and 8 km south of Taba, from the first sight you will realize the importance of that castle, which was built by the great leader Salahuddin Al-Iwi.

Salah al-Din Citadel is located on an island in the middle of water, and was built in 1170 AD to protect the eastern borders of Egypt and the Gulf of Aqaba.
