The archaeological bridge of Majzoub, one of the famous landmarks in the province of Assiut, which separates the west of the city from its east. The Al-Majzoub bridge was built on top of an older one dating back to the Mamluk era, but it takes the same old shape, and depicts the course of the water in the past as the water came from the south to the north and gathered with the Nile, and at the end of each bridge there is a wall; To plug the water.

The archaeological bridge of Majzoub is considered one of the most important water installations in the governorate of Assiut. It was established in the year 1836AD-1251H during the reign of Muhammad Ali Pasha, the governor of Egypt.
