An international cultural festival is held every year in Damanhur between July and August. The festival presents folkloric dance performances, in which international and Egyptian teams participate. Including teams from Lebanon, China and Vietnam, and from various Arab countries. Most performances take place at the Opera House, and some performances take place in different places in Damanhur, whether in closed halls or outdoors.
