Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, chaired today, Tuesday, the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the new community universities (King Salman, Al Galala, El Alamein, New Mansoura). During the meeting, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar affirmed the state’s keenness to pay attention to the new private universities, noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s approval to establish these universities came in light of the aim of establishing educational and scientific entities that provide the nation’s youth with a distinguished educational level that is consistent with the needs of the internal and external labor market. At the same time, it contributes to graduating students specialized in modern scientific technological fields.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, the minister pointed to the political leadership’s directives to establish 10 new private universities at the level of the governorates of the Republic, pointing to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's keenness to establish these universities according to the highest standards, which reflects the support and interest of the main leadership in education because it is the main way out for development. the society.
